Malwarebytes finds three trojans in mingw 2.4.4 (Bug #2963)
Description
Hi opencv'ers
Malwarebytes is reporting 3 'Trojan.Menti' files in the Mingw download of OpenCV 2.4 (OpenCV-2.4.4.exe) :
C:\andrew\tools\made_with_mingw32\opencv\opencv\build\mybuildlibs\CMakeFiles\2.8.10.2\CMakeDetermineCompilerABI_C.bin (Trojan.Menti) -> No action taken.
C:\andrew\tools\made_with_mingw32\opencv\opencv\build\mybuildlibs\CMakeFiles\2.8.10.2\CompilerIdC\a.exe (Trojan.Menti) -> No action taken.
C:\andrew\tools\made_with_mingw32\opencv\opencv\build\mybuildlibs\CMakeFiles\CheckTypeSize\OFF64_T.bin (Trojan.Menti) -> No action taken.
I am not deleting these files yet, as it is possible that this is a false alarm. Anyone else seen this? This was a build into a clean directory on a machine that was
checked in advance of the build.
Apologies if someone else found/filed this but I did not see a ticket in my search of this DB for 'trojan' 'malware' or 'OFF64_T.bin'
Thanks
Andrew
