How to enable GPU in OpenCV for ATI Radeon X1600? (Bug #939)
Description
Hi, all:
My testing environment:
OS: Ubuntu 10.10
OpenCV: svn-4798 (Mar. 8, 2011)
I'd love to try the sample at
"/usr/local/share/opencv/samples/gpu/hog.cpp",
but I happened to notice the famous problem "OpenCV No GPU Support", which seems to hint that I've got to enable WITH_CUDA during configuration.
However, my video card is ATI Radeon X1600, which seems to be a bit old, but anyway, there is no CUDA support.
Will OpenCV support non-NVidia video card for GPU computation?
Best Regards
JIA

Currently only NVidia cards are supported. ATI GPU support is too far future to make any guess.
