Description

Let's discuss it someday. It seems that many people really want to have OpenCV available in MATLAB (Octave). We already have wrappers generation for Python and Java, so it should be feasible to add MATLAB API. There is actually a number of tickets on some particular aspects regarding this feature. And there are some attempts, like this one: https://github.com/kyamagu/mexopencv. We should probably consider this feature for GSoC or some other event.

Dear community, please +1 this ticket if you consider this feature as useful. Those who could help with adding this API, please let us know!

We are proposing this feature as a GSOC project this year: http://www.code.opencv.org/projects/gsoc2013/wiki. We have set up a Q&A in the forum for those who would like to discuss features and implementation details: http://answers.opencv.org/question/9487/matlab-api-for-opencv/

I think that Hilton made a great job, and we can close this tickets. For new issues we should better create new tickets.
