Description

I'm trying to install OpenCV 2.3.1.a3 on a virtual machine running Mac OSX 10.8.2. I successfully installed it on my physical machine using macports, but the install fails on the virtual Mac. Xcode and cmake had no problems installing. I'm using VMWare Fusion 5 as the virtualization platform.

looks like this is a problem with old/incompatible ffmpeg. Also, please, try OpenCV 2.4.2 or 2.4.3rc. Our team is very small and we can not physically afford supporting previous versions of OpenCV.
