CMAKE error since rev 5708 (Bug #1171)

Description
Since revision 5708 on SVN trunk, CMAKE fails with this error:
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:51 (set_property):
set_property could not find CACHE variable CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE.
Perhaps it has not yet been created.
I tried re-running CMAKE a few times, I tried clearing the cache, ... but none of these helped.
System = WinXP SP2, MSVC 2005

Just fixed in r5710
- Status changed from Open to Done
- (deleted custom field) set to fixed
