I can't reproduce your problem.
My environment:
OpenCV r5297
Ubuntu 10.10 x64
Python 2.7 from Ubuntu repository
Cuda 4.0
OpenCV is compiled without errors.
- Status changed from Open to Done
- (deleted custom field) set to worksforme
